This service is available to local authorities only.
Family support workers are available to support families with everyday living skills usually delivered within the family’s own home.
This support is achieved by providing an experienced children and family support worker to attend the family home on a frequency as directed by the local authority to provide and support the families with:
- Household Budgeting
- Respite Childcare
- Promoting education, health and general wellbeing.
- Introducing daily routines and boundaries into the family home.
- Assisting with food preparation and menu planning.
- Other daily skills as required by the local authority.
